Remember, the whole point of cloud computing is to provide IT resources as services which in turn encompass other IT resources and provide the ability to be accessed remotely. This model above is what you are seeing the buzzword as a service (aaS). Examples include:

- PaaS – Platform as a Service
- DaaS – Database as a Service
